The Winding Waters crew made their first trip of the Spring down on the Wallowa River yesterday in search of Steelhead.  Tom and Jon had a great day.  Warm and sunny weather a good fishing.  Tom landed the 2 Steelhead Hogs in the photo below and Jon caught and released a large Bull Trout.  We now have positive confirmation of fish being caught on the fly in the Wallowa.  Let’s go fishing!

Following is the Steelhead Creel report for the Grande Ronde and Wallowa Rivers.  It looks like Tom and Jon beat the odds reported here.  I guess 30 years of fishing experience pays off.
