Grande Ronde 1 Day Steelhead

Trip Description

October 1 – November 15, 2019: Grande Ronde River Steelhead are famous for being fighters on the line and therefore a thrill to catch. Let one of our expert fly fishing guides show you the secrets of catching Steelhead on this river. Our guides are experienced at guiding/teaching all skill levels from beginner to advanced. Full day fly fishing trips are priced per guide, and each guide can accommodate 1 or 2 anglers. The day includes: guide, boat, lunch, drinks, and any equipment that you may need such as waders, boots and a fly rod. The Grande Ronde River Steelhead fly fishing season is October through mid-November.

Your guide will meet you in Troy, OR. Please inquire about lodging, camping and meal options in Troy. We have a cabin in Troy that sleeps up to 6 comfortably including a wood fired hot tub and outdoor fire pit.  This is the perfect place to share your fishing stories after a great day on the river.  We can even plan and prepare all of your meals for you during your stay if you choose the meal plan.

Meet your guide at 8:00am at the WWRE Troy Base (see map tab below for location) and plan to wrap up between 5:00 and 6:00PM
