Overview
Join us on our 5 day scenic whitewater float through 9 miles of the Wallowa river, 30 miles of the Wild & Scenic section of the beautiful Grande Ronde River in Oregon and 51 miles of the Lower Grande Ronde ending in tight twisting canyons. Keep your eyes peeled for rock arches in the lowest stretches of the canyon! There is one night of camping across from a road in the middle of the 5 day trip . Easy class II and III whitewater, a deep basalt river canyon, and stunning Ponderosa Pine forests start the trip. This trip drops the most in elevation and we end in the lowest reaches of the canyon directly above the mouth of the Snake river in Hells Canyon. This extended trip provides the perfect backdrop for a more complete immersion into the varied terrain and ecosystems of the Grande Ronde, one of Oregon’s hidden gems.
Our all-inclusive trips include round-trip transportation to and from Joseph, OR. Float in a guided oar raft, paddle raft and/or inflatable kayak. We also take stand up paddle boards on these adventures upon request. And we’d like to mention that our gourmet menu is capstoned with locally raised and grown ingredients. We are happy to accommodate most dietary needs upon request. Let our guides take care of the details while you build memories to last a lifetime!
A perfect trip for families, groups, and individuals wishing to explore one of the Pacific Northwest’s most beautiful rivers.
