Grande Ronde River Steelhead Caught in Troy Yesterday
Tom had a good day fishing for Steelhead on the Grande Ronde River Yesterday 10-6-10. He hooked 2 fish and landed 1. Photos coming soon.
Tom was swinging a Purple Peril in the foam when he hooked these 2 fish. They hit in the afternoon under overcast skies with a water temperature of 55 degrees. We have had a few good days of rain which have caused the river to rise about 150cfs and it is holding around 750 for now. This is just what we need to get those Steelhead moving, proven by what Tom found out yesterday. Looks like we are going to have another couple days of cool rain before a high pressure system moves in next week. Get out there on the Grande Ronde and catch a steelhead.
