See you in June
Well, as you have probably figured out by now, The Steelhead Fly Fishing Season is over. We had a good time on the Wallowa River and the Imnaha River this spring. Kind of a difficult fishing season due to the huge fluctuations in flow but we still managed to catch a few of those beautiful Steelhead.
It is now time to begin focusing on the summer fishing. We will begin fly fishing for Rainbow trout on the Wallowa River in June or as soon as the flows level out. Sounds like there will also be a Salmon season opening up on the Imnaha River on Memorial Day.
Now is also the time to reserve your Fall Supported Steelhead trip on the Grande Ronde River. This is the perfect trip for the experienced angler who wants to fish the wild and scenic and uncrowded waters of the Grande Ronde and not have to deal with the headache of all of those camp chores. Space is limited on these trips so the sooner you book the better.
Thanks to all of those who joined us this spring on the Wallowa and to those who shared their fishing reports with us.
