Weather & Water

We conduct most of our Idaho and Oregon whitewater rafting trips from the end of May until the end of September. May through June daytime temperatures will average 70-80°F and night time temps will average 60°F. July through September daytime temps will average 80-90° F but can spike up to 100° F and our salvation from those occasional really hot days are nice cool 70° F evenings. Water temperatures are a refreshing 65-70° F so a daily swim keeps everyone feeling fresh. If there is unusual weather activity in the forecast we will let you know prior to trip departure.
Mosquitoes are never a problem and camping conditions are ideal. We can get an occasional rain storm or thunder shower which usually only serve to sweeten the air.

The following is a list of weather forecasts for each of our rivers and Joseph, Oregon. Water level graphs (flow graphs) are below as well.
